  • You’ve done it, you’ve birthed your baby like the incredible human you are, now what? It’s such a surreal feeling coming to the realisation you have a tiny human to look after. Transitioning into parenthood is an incredible and magical (and knackering) experience. Having a postnatal doula to support you and act as your mini village can ensure that your healing and wellbeing isn’t left behind while you’re busy loving your newborn.

Postnatal hours can be booked for a minimum of 3 hours at a time that suits you. The support can take the shape of whatever you feel you need most. Whether it be practical support, cuddling your baby so you can have that much needed bath/nap/slice of cake undisturbed, breast/chest feeding support, or simply just being a listening ear so you can feel safe and supported while sharing the highs and lows of being a new parent. There isn’t much a postnatal doula can’t do.

  • I provide overnight sleep support for families who feel they desperately need to catch up on some much needed sleep. I fully understand that sleep deprivation inhibits a person’s ability to be the parent they wish to be in the daytime. With your home environment and feeding goals in mind, I can provide tailored support throughout the night to ensure you get those much needed hours of rest so that you can be on top form the next day.

  • 3 antenatal sessions the comfort of your home, we can go deep into your hopes fears and expectations while learning all about the various paths and modes to birth.

I’ll be there to help you to consider your birthing preferences and write your birth plan. And discuss ways your partner can provide hands on support during your labour including; biomechanics, massage and various comfort measures. Finishing off with a session focusing on your postpartum, we spend so much time preparing for the birth, we often forget we are parents on the other side (I know I did!).
